Book your Rally Week stay early and pocket some extra cash for the road! Guests who reserve ahead of time can save 10% on their Rally Week stay. Here’s what you need to know:
This offer is valid for new reservations only and applies to Rally Week stays from August 7 through 16, 2026. A 10-night minimum stay is required and each site includes 2 adults with additional guests charged separately. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Can I ride my motorcycle from the campground to the Sturgis Rally?
How far is Black Hills Vista from downtown Sturgis?
Black Hills Vista RV Park is located just 3.5 miles from downtown Sturgis, making it an easy ride to Main Street, rally events, concerts, and vendor areas.Many guests enjoy the quick ride into town during the day and returning to the campground in the evening for a quieter place to relax.
Are motorcycles allowed at RV sites?
Yes. Motorcycles are welcome at every RV site. Most guests park their bikes directly at their campsite so they’re always nearby and ready for the next ride.
Can I bring a motorcycle trailer?
Yes. Motorcycle trailers are allowed at Black Hills Vista RV Park. Our sites are spacious and designed to accommodate RVs, trailers, and bikes during the Sturgis Rally.
Is overflow trailer parking available?
Yes. We have limited overflow parking available for trailers and additional vehicles if needed. Many of our RV sites are large enough to accommodate vehicles and trailers directly at the campsite as well.
What size RVs can the park accommodate?
Black Hills Vista can accommodate RV rigs of all sizes, including large motorhomes, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and extended trailers. The park has hosted everything from standard RVs to large rigs and semi-truck setups during rally week.
Are generators allowed during the rally?
No. Generators are not permitted at Black Hills Vista RV Park. All RV sites include hookups, and this policy helps maintain a quieter environment for guests during rally week.
Are campfires allowed at the campground?
Due to Black Hills fire restrictions, traditional wood fires are not allowed. However, propane fire pits are permitted and are a great way to relax around the campsite after a long day of riding.
Are there quiet hours during the Sturgis Rally?
Yes. Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Many rally guests appreciate having a campground where they can enjoy the rally during the day and still get a good night’s rest before the next ride.
Are there scenic motorcycle rides near the campground?
Absolutely. Black Hills Vista is located near some of the country's best motorcycle rides. From the campground, you can easily access incredible rides through the Black Hills National Forest, including routes to:
- Spearfish Canyon
- Needles Highway
- Iron Mountain Road
- Mount Rushmore
- Deadwood
These legendary rides are a major reason riders return to the Sturgis Rally every year.
Is there a place to gather with other riders at the campground?
Yes. Rally guests often gather right at their campsites, and the park also has a community propane fire pit, a jump pillow, and games where campers meet, relax, and connect with fellow riders from around the country. The Sturgis Rally is all about community, and Black Hills Vista is a great place to meet new friends and riding partners.
Can you see Sturgis from the campground?
Yes. The east side of Black Hills Vista RV Park overlooks downtown Sturgis, offering scenic hilltop views of the city and surrounding Black Hills. It’s one of the reasons many riders choose our campground as their rally home base.
